Bradford Literature Festival

As a Creative Producer of the 2023 edition of Bradford Literature Festival, I played a leading role in programming and producing this multi-artform and multi-cultural festival of over 650 events.

With guests such as Linton Kwesi Johnson and Irvine Welsh, my programme was a diverse and exciting explosion of experiences. Internationally acclaimed jazz singer Judi Jackson played an astonishing gig celebrating the genius of Nina Simone, Denise Gough became Sylvia Plath in ‘Dead Poets Live: Sylvia Plath’ (hosted in St Thomas the Apostles Church in Heptonstall, where Plath is buried), and Irvine Welsh gave a blood-thumping DJ set at A Lit Night Out.
