National Library of Scotland
As part of the events team at the National Library of Scotland, I curated and produced live cultural and heritage programmes, both in-person and digitally. Through a series of lectures, in-conversations, and film-screenings, I opened up the collections of this national organisation to the public, showcasing them as the meaningful and relevant objects they are.
I particularly enjoyed leading and delivering the Neu! Treasures! project, in partnership with avant-garde noisemakers, Neu! Reekie!. This project commissioned twelve of Scotland’s best loved poets, musicians, and filmmakers, to make write a creative response to one of the Library’s most-cherished items.
A number of the videos can be found below, with the full collection of responses available on the Library’s website and their corresponding videos on the Library’s YouTube channel.
